Greenland: “Not For Sale” (Lunch & Discussion with Stephen Gorman, Arctic Photographer)

Thursday, April 17, 12:15 - 1:30 PM | Occom Commons (Goldstein Hall) | Dartmouth College

Join us for a slideshow and lunch discussion with Arctic photographer Stephen Gorman. Gorman's latest exhibition, "Not For Sale," features photographs of Inuit life in Greenland and the Canadian Arctic. The show represents "a call to remember the Inuit people as more than subjects of imperial ambitions and political agendas. These images are an invitation to reflect on the sovereignty of those who live in the Arctic, and the ongoing threat posed by the annexation and exploitation of their lands." Read more about the exhibition and see samples of Gorman's photography here.

Sponsored by North Park House. Open to members of all Houses and the community. RSVP here!
